Old age income security in Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam

How does growing older affect a person’s income security in Asia? This question is becoming increasingly urgent in the context of rapid population ageing in the region, yet little has been done to answer it. This report contributes to filling this evidence gap by analysing the income security of older people in Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. It mines survey data to paint a picture of the multiple sources of income older people have, and how they interact.
