Online Community
The sweeping repercussions of the COVID-19 outbreak require responses that extend far beyond the health sector, including measures to assist people in need and protect them from falling into poverty due to the pandemic. In this scenario, social protection measures have become more important than ever. Access the COVID-19 Online Community for up-to-date, country-level content on social protection policy and operational measures in response to COVID-19. Join the discussions to share your thoughts and relevant news!

This joint effort is an initiative of the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ), and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia, in collaboration with the socialprotection.org online platform.

This initiative comprises an Online Community, a webinar series and a weekly newsletter, all of which features worldwide efforts on social protection responses to COVID-19. It is inspired by colleagues and organisations working to disseminate relevant content on social protection responses to the pandemic.

All partners and organisations are welcome and strongly invited to contribute by sharing knowledge and discussing their findings on social protection responses to the crisis. Learn more on how to collaborate here. If you have any questions or comments, please send an email to [email protected].
