Welcome to the January edition of our brand new monthly newsletter!
It's a happy new year for the socialprotection.org team: This is the year of social protection! The topic will be addressed at leading international events in 2019, including: Together to achieve Universal Social Protection by 2030, the 57th UN Session of the Commission for Social Development, the Sixty-third UN session of the Commission on the Status of Women, and the ILO's 100th anniversary celebrations.

This month's newsletter is dedicated to inequality and social cohesion. We're off to a busy start: Don't miss the call for applications to the 3rd round of the TRANSFORM e-course and upcoming events, including three webinars and two livestreams in the first week of February. Here's to a prosperous 2019 for all!
