The Southern African Social Protection Experts Network (SASPEN) is a network of social protection experts and scholars that engages with social protection in the Southern African Region and aims to provide information, constructive discourse and promote the development of social protection in the SADC. The network has an impressive track record of innovative and effective programmes to support and foster work that aims at making a significant impact on the quality of life and opportunities for citizens in the region and beyond.
SASPEN works with and is affiliated with a number of organisations both within the Southern African Region and beyond. To ensure inclusiveness and strengthen the drive in advancing Social Protection, SASPEN is calling on small and emerging organisations within the region that have been engaging with social protection to REGISTER with us for FREE for future opportunities for capacity-building support, participation in SASPEN activities, mentorship and training to develop and strengthen organisational capacity to effectively engage in Social Protection.
To register, your organisation will have to meet the following criteria;
- Organisation should have been in operation for at least 6 months and legally registered as a non-profit organization in country of operation
- Organisation should have not more than 20 employees, inclusive of staff working on a voluntary /part time basis
- Social protection Must be a key area of programming for the Organisation
