This brief was prepared based on the findings of an analytical study on integrating adaptive social protection financing into the Disaster Risks Financing Instrument conducted by the Ministry of Finance, with technical support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Indonesia. The objective of the brief is to inform policymakers of the key considerations for the development of the Minister of Finance Regulation and the scope of pooling funds to finance emergency social protection.
