The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of Social Protection Fund Approaches on Sustainable livelihoods in Kisumu County, Kenya. This study employed a cross- sectional research design with the population of 100 respondents. This study was guided by the following research objectives; to establish the effects of provisional social protection fund on sustainable livelihoods in Kenya, to determine the effects of preventive social protection fund on sustainable livelihoods in Kenya Data were sampled using Stratified purposive sampling. Under this study, descriptive statistics were used. Questionnaire and observation were the main tools for collecting data.
