Good Practices in South-South and Triangular Cooperation: Delivering on the Sustainable Development Goal on Good Health and Well-being
Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages is not only a fundamental right and a crucial development goal, but it is also front and center of the global COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve sustainable development, ensuring health is critical, with the understanding that most of the SDGs either directly relate to health or indirectly contribute to its advancement. The joint publication aims to support and promote South-South and triangular cooperation through country-to-country learning around SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), focusing on primary health care (PHC); reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH); the elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV & Syphilis (EMTCT); and within the overarching framework of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and health systems strengthening.
