Objectifs du programme
The Food Productive Programme gives the opportunity to produce food for families own consuption and gives tools to poor farmer families for going on to work. It has a middle and long term perspective and aims to contribute to the economic development of the country through: domestic food supply, currency savings, agregated value to local and national products and growth of exportations.

Do not sell animals on the two first years; Refund part of the capital (up to NIO $5000) in order to create a financial fund administrated by the cooperative; Receive and participate to the technical capacitation courses; Participate in the creation of stables get involved in productive activities; Send children to school and assist to maternal lactancy programmes; Associate and incorporate into trade networks.

It consists in a transfer of protein generator goods (the total value per household of the programme is USD$ 1000 annual –including goods, training and capacitation, plus executing costs of the programme). The goods delivered to the households are animals, seeds and vegetal food for animals, food trees, material for stables, henhouses, a biodigestor to produce gaz with animals excrements; as well as capacitation courses: farmer economy, agriculture practices to improve production, entrepreneurship culture, animal sanity, environement hygiene, associativity and self management, credit, trade, etc.
