On 15 November 2016, FAO and UNICEF will launch the book “From Evidence to Action: The Story of CashTransfers and Impact Evaluation in Sub-Saharan Africa” which provides, through 8 case studies, compelling newevidence about the effectiveness of unconditional cash transfers in combating hunger and poverty in Africa. Thebook will be launched during a Critical Thinking Forum hosted by Mail & Guardian in Johannesburg, South Africa.
