Service Brochure of socialprotection.org

socialprotection.org is an unbranded and neutral online platform dedicated to fostering knowledge sharing, capacity strengthening and collaboration in the field of social protection. The platform was launched in 2015 in response to a request from the G20 to establish an effective knowledge exchange platform dedicated to social protection. Developed by the former IPC-IG and currently transitioning from the UNDP to UNRISD, the platform aims to actively contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the years, it has continuously supported organisations and governments, particularly those in developing countries, in strengthening and enhancing social protection programmes. This support is delivered through the identification and dissemination of lessons learned, exchange of innovative best practices, and the provision of training opportunities. Serving as a reference hub for a global and diverse audience, socialprotection.org has garnered thousands of members, including high-level experts, policymakers, researchers, and social protection practitioners. The platform provides crucial contributions to the social protection community by offering an extensive array of services aimed at promoting knowledge sharing, building capacity, facilitating policy dialogue, fostering networking, and improving communication among social protection actors.
