The Adequacy Project of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) broadens the debate on the definition of social security benefit adequacy.
The adequacy model presented in this report, which addresses specifically retirement benefit provision, seeks not only to define the different variables that contribute to adequacy but to quantify their role. The aim is to better reflect the reality of the multiple objectives of social security systems.
