This document provides governments, HelpAge International staff, network members and partners with key messages to advocate for the effective inclusion of older people in preparedness planning and ongoing responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Messages should be adapted for use at the national level, based on the specifics of the outbreak in each setting and information available through programmes and engagement with governments, network members and other actors.
