Tunisia's national school feeding programme targets some 240,000 children in 2,500 schools. Fully funded by the national government, Tunisia's investment in school meals totalled USD 13.2 million in school year 2014/2015. The programme is under the responsability of the Ministry of Education and implemented in a highly decentralized manner, where all food procurement and management is done at the school level.
