Programme objectives
This programme aims to promote school enrolment/ attendance and provide poverty alleviation. It aims to reinforce the public policies and actions needed to eradicate poverty and break the cycles of exclusion and inequality as a condition for achieving development in the region.
Conditionalities (if any)
School attendance for all children (5 to 18 years old) in public schools; Health Clinic visits for (0 to 5 years old and all household members; Parents registered in public health facilities; Parents and young adults attend Developmental Awareness Sessions (workshops on health care, nutrition, reproductive health, etc).

Amount of benefits
XCD 300 (2021) As of January 2024, beneficiaries over 65 years old, with physical disabilities or with mental illness, received a permanent increase of XCD 200 per month. Hence, these beneficiaries receive XCD 500 per month.
