Conditionalities (if any)
i) Subsidio educativo (Education subsidy): School attendance with a maximum of 8 excused absences (every two months); ii) Subsidio de transportes (Transportation subsidy): School attendance with a maximum of 10 excused absences (every two months). The students whom the Secretary of Education (SED) allocates in an official school further than two kilometers from the place of residence, will receive the transfer.

Targeting and eligiblity

Eligibility criteria
i) Subsidio educativo (Education subsidy): Children under 19 years old enrolled between 6th and 11th grade; Sanctions: The household will lose the subsidy if the student fails the school year or violates the commitments of school assistance during two cycles (continuous or discontinuous); ii) Subsidio de transportes (Transportation subsidy): Children between 14 and 19 years old enrolled between 9th and 11th grade, and who live more than 2 kms far from the school. Sanctions: If the beneficiary does not attend school, s/he will be deducted the sum of $ 2,800 per day of absence.

Amount of benefits
i) Subsidio educativo (Education subsidy): Col$ 80,000 bimonthly; Transfer by recipient characteristics (consider level of education attended by the children); ii) Subsidio de transportes (Transportation subsidy): Minimum amount of Col$ 150.000 and maximum amount of Col$300.000 bimonthly; Transfer by Flat transfer.
