Programme objectives
This programme funds social cooperatives that promotes collective labour projects that allow the labour insertion of persons living in poverty, exclusion, social vulnerability and with unsatisfied basic needs. Labour positions are created collectively to make possible development and social inclusion opportunities for its members and decent income generation.

Targeting and eligiblity
Target groups
Men and Women, persons with disability, ethnic minorities, and every person in poverty or social vulnerability situation. Persons without employment or with irregular work as subsistance income.
Eligibility criteria
A condition for participating in the programmes is to be a group of five persons(minimum) with a sustainable project. Until 25% of the members can be persons who are not in conditions of vulnerability, which can bring more knowledge and experience to the group.

Type of benefits
Direct job creation (Support to social projects). The Social Cooperative is a company which owning is collective; it belongs to the associate-workers, who take independently their decisions. The associate-worker perceive the wage established by the salary council for the activity area of the cooperative. It is also an education tool and promotes citizenship development because its own principles and values base as cooperative.
