The PROEMPLEO programme has the specific objectives of introducing a work-training and labour insertion mechanism oriented to specific demand of potential employers; to create a labour intermediation system that facilitates the link between job seeker and job oportunities; as well as improving the labour market knowledge in the country; and support the consolidation of a transformation process of the STSS from a institution mainly oriented to the administration of labour conciliation to an institution for employment promotion and modernizing the labour administration regulation.
