Programme objectives

The PATI programme provided individual financial support during the six months of the community project and a strengthening of employability by means of vocational training for each participant through a vocational training course lasting approximately 80 hours.

Targeting and eligiblity

Eligibility criteria
i) Cash transfer: People over 16 years of age without formal employment, prioritising young people between 16 and 24 years of age and female heads of household; ii) Communitarian projects: Beneficiaries of PATI-Comunidades Solidarias; iii) Vocational training courses: Beneficiaries of PATI-Comunidades Solidarias; iv) Strenghening of the participating institutions: Institutions participing in the programme.

Coverage and other information

Type of benefits
i) Cash transfer: Monthly cash transfer with the aim to provide financial support during the six months of the community project; ii) Communitarian projects: vocational training and community improvment; iii) Vocational training courses: Capacitation courses that identify a diagnostic of employment and business opportunities in each specific municipality with communitarian participation. Women participation is promoted in jobs not traditionally feminine for generating changes and modify stereotypes related to women and men capacities for work; iv) Strenghening of the participating institutions: It aims to strengthen the capacities of municipalities and their role in promoting the development of persons and territories.
