Programme objectives

This programme was developed in parallel to the PRAF that is implemented with national funds and aimed to standarize operational structures and benefits of both programmes. The programme consists of two different modalities. The first is an "initial intervention" that includes only one cash transfer (Nutrition bonus) without any conditionality, but with promotion of the demand for education and health services; the second modality is an "integral intervention" that, in addition to the Nutrition bonus, delivers a health bonus and an education bonus, subject to conditionalities. The project is being closed, waiting for approval of the new credit operation with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
