Programme objectives
This programme seeks to strengthen the capabilities and competencies for income generation of the members of families belonging to the Unidos Network, in order to develop labor habits that will allow them to achieve goal 6 of the network ("All the people in working age meets capabilities levels that enables the linking into a paid employment or improve the current work conditions").
Programme components
i) Conditional Transfer
ii) Competencies training: Within a maximum period of 4 years, the beneficiary should complete secondary (in a "2 years in 1" scheme) and technical-vocational education (2 years maximum). It is not allowed to fail any course, or the transfer will be lost.
iii) Social Service and Skills Development ("Mingas"): Group work which aims is to generate value added to the local community. Each person must work at least 4 hours per week (16 hours monthly) and can not perform dangerous activities. Also, there is a coordinator who organizes activities, and monitors and informs beneficiary attendance to a municipal officer. The workshops must build skills that promote human development.
iv) "Prosperity Chain": Group work which aims is to generate value added to the local community. Each person must work at least 4 hours per week (16 hours monthly) and can not perform dangerous activities. Also, there is a coordinator who organizes activities, and monitors and informs beneficiary attendance to a municipal officer. The workshops must build skills that promote human development.
v) Savings Promotion: The programme seeks to stimulate the financial inclusion of the beneficiaries, by opening a bank account.
Conditionalities (if any)
i) Conditional Transfer: Compliance with each component of the programme. Sanctions: Immediate exit in case of unexcused absence to school, social service and/or training sessions.

Eligibility criteria
Heads of household or their spouses, aged between 18 to 35 years old, with schooling between 5th and 11th grade, who do not have formal employment.
The families beneficiaries of the Families in Action programme can receive this transfer, but have to quit receiving the previous transfers, and should continue to comply with the education and nutrition conditionalities. It is a prerequisite to sign the acceptance letter, be enrolled in an educational institution and have a valid savings account.

Exit strategies or criteria: In case of getting into a formal employment, the beneficiaries do not receive the transfer, but they still participate in the "Competencies training" component
