Programme objectives

Provide key assistance to families affected by the crisis and the ever-growing impact of climate change, as Libya has been exposed to dust and sandstorms, as well as flash flooding episodes, which have damaged infrastructure and farmland vital for livelihoods and caused widespread displacement.

Eligibility criteria
Libyan citizens that have been victim to natural disasters and have lost their main source of income or livelihood due to the natural disaster, or if the head of household or breadwinner has died or been incapacitated due to the impact of the disaster. Only applicants that cannot cover the damages by themselves (through insurance for instance) are eligible, and must apply within 90 days following the disaster.
