The fourth session of the dialogue series discussed the experience of the Chilean Ministry of Social Development and Family with its integrated Social Information Registry (Registro de Información Social - RIS). RIS contains information on a large majority of the country's population and is available to more than 50 state administration bodies, the country's 345 municipalities, and accredited research universities. This has meant a growing challenge to improve interoperability and data protection by implementing data governance practices to address the relevant aspects of handling the managed data in a secure, quality, and well-documented manner.
