In partnership with NYU and Privacy International, the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) is hosting a webinar to discuss our research on the World Bank’s approach to digital ID and social protection in developing countries. This discussion will build on our research to identify issues with the present model that fosters problematic digital ID and social protection systems, and aims to create a coordinated approach to ensuring future systems align with human rights values and norms.
