VII Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean under the theme "Building Resilient Economies in the Americas and the Caribbean" is aimed at raising awareness of the increasing economic and human cost of disasters in the Americas and the Caribbean, including the special challenges facing Small Island Developing States.

If you are passionate, like to tell stories in a different format and contribute to the awareness and dissemination of disaster risk reduction then we are looking for you to deliver a resilience talk! The selected speaker will have travel costs covered to attend the RP2020; this includes air travel, daily subsistence allowance and terminals costs for the three days of the event (travelling on the 7th of July and return on the 11th of July 2020).
