The Africa Forum on SSR Forum will be organized jointly by the AU, the UN, the EU and the ASSN, and the Slovak Republic, with the expert support of DCAF’s International Security Sector Advisory Team (ISSAT,"http://issat.dcaf.ch). The aim is to complement and build on the recent developments in SSR policy frameworks, tools and approaches and on the 2012 High Level Panel in Nairobi. The Africa Forum on SSR will bring together senior Government officials and experts engaged in SSR across the continent to consider the unique challenges and opportunities in engaging and supporting sustainable SSR programming in Africa, as well as share and identify good practice and lessons.
