The Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific (RSSF Asia-Pacific) is the biggest and most important social security event in the region. The Forum will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 3–5 December 2024, at the invitation of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI). Organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), RSSF Asia-Pacific will bring together around 300 participants and represent a landmark opportunity for peer-to-peer sharing, learning and networking, enabling participants to forge links with other leaders and professionals in social security. The Forum will address a range of topical priority issues for the region. The extension of coverage to different groups in the formal and informal sectors, the evolving social protection needs of populations and the leadership role of social security institutions for the development of social security systems in a context of complex labour market, economic and demographic developments will be some of the important aspects discussed. The Forum will also focus on how management and service delivery is transforming, and how social security can contribute to resilience and sustainability.
