I am from The Bahamas. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of The Bahamas and a master's degree in Community Psychology at The University of Brighton. I believe that every individual has the right to live a dignified and valued life and I am interested in the promotion of psychosocial wellbeing, poverty alleviation and inequality reduction through policy. I joined the Ambassador's programme because I recognize the need for social protection measures in addressing these issues. In addition, being a part of the program will allow me to further understand how social protection can address the social inequalities of my country, which has been exacerbated by Covid-19 and past natural disasters.
