I am Michelle Lessa Nascimento, from Germany, but currently living and working in Ghana as a Junior Advisor for TVET with GIZ. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with Intercultural Relations and I am currently finalizing my MA in International Relations and Development Policy with a thesis on social protection and South-South cooperation. My other areas of interest are poverty reduction, sustainability, TVET and women's empowerment. I joined the programme because it will allow me to continuously learn about the field while I research topics that are relevant to me and the countries I live or have lived at (Ghana and Brazil). By applying my knowledge, I will also be able to contribute to support the dissemination of social protection policies and be part of a global community with a common interest.
