Lydia has a background in international development with a Bachelor's of Social Science in International Development and Globalization, from the University of Ottawa. Currently pursuing a Master's in Global Governance, Lydia seeks to meaningfully contribute to tackling increasingly complex, global problems through the implementation of just and effective mechanisms. Selected research interests include the SDGs, the conflict-development nexus, human rights, and poverty; with a special regional focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.
