Description

The United Nations System in the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean is made up of 5 United Nations Country Teams (UNCTs) in Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the United Nations Sub-Regional Team (UNST) for Barbados and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

The United Nations Multi-Country Office for Barbados and the OECS is located in Barbados and covers the 7 independent nations: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and 3 British Overseas territories: Anguilla,  the British Virgin Islands and Montserrat.  

24 UN agencies, funds and programmes have cooperation with the Eastern Caribbean countries and territories.
