The mission of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection is to draft and implement policies and development strategies in the health care sector. It is responsible for regulating health care services and for coordinating work between all actors, inside and outside the care system. It aims to guarantee the constitutional right, defined in Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania. Its mission is also to guarantee constitutional rights to social protection and inclusion and equal opportunities.
