We invite you to post education opportunties in the field of social protection in this forum discussion.
Social Protection Policy and Design. This is the opportune area. Malawi today is being challenged with more crises. There are series of natural shocks as evident to the continued dry spells between 2010 to 2015, climate change effects (heavy rains leading to flods in districts like Phalombe, Nsanje and Chikwawa), and on the other hand shocks due to man-made tendencies like charcoal production, unreasonable bushfires and other bad practices of farming.
The impact is felt as more social support needs to be pumped to support the vulnerable households with emergency relief and humanitarian aid.
Therefore the course in social protectionpolicy and design will equip me in coming up with new strategies tat will feed into the gaps in our social policies so that socks are reduced.
