Webinar: “The role of (I)NGOs in linking humanitarian cash and social protection in conflict settings'

Hello all,

We wanted to update you on the next webinar scheduled as part of the series commissioned by the Grand Bargain cash workstream sub-group on linking SP with humanitarian cash.  We are pleased to be co-hosting this one with the Collaborative Cash Delivery Network (CCD).

The fourth webinar on 12th Mar, Thursday, 9 am EST, is “The role of (I)NGOs in linking humanitarian cash and social protection in conflict settings'.  Through case studies from Yemen (Oxfam) and Nigeria (ACF), we will explore the role of humanitarian actors, specifically INGOs, in contexts of conflict, where they can play a critical role in designing Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) so that it can form the basis for social transfers, and in shaping SP policy. Please register here and share with your networks. More information below.

We have put out a call on the CaLP d groups for feedback on the series and also to see if there are experiences/topics that people would like to learn more about (or co-host).  Please feel free to share your thoughts on the list or with me bilaterally.  We are also still using the d-groups platform to continue conversations on the topic (and please feel free to start your own thread or suggest one for us to begin and facilitate).  If you aren’t subscribed to the CaLP list, you can join here

Thanks for your engagement and for sharing this onwards.

Best wishes,
Zehra and Zula.
