Christy Lowe is a Research Officer in ODI’s Equity and Social Policy programme, focusing on improving social protection quality and coverage for marginalised groups. Much of her current research relates to the use of social protection systems and programmes in response to large-scale shocks, including humanitarian-social protection links. Her research covers both operational lessons and broader socio-political themes, including a forthcoming paper on the social cohesion effects of social protection and humanitarian assistance in displacement settings.
