This update provides links to resources focusing on Humanitarian Cash Transfers (HCT) and Social Protection (SP) that have become available in the first half of February 2021, as well as links to remote events scheduled for the coming month including the Grand Bargain Sub-Group's first webinar of 2021. This event (to be held on Thursday 18 February) will see experts from The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, World Vision, and Save the Children share their learning in relation to linking child protection, social protection and humanitarian cash.

The "Social Protection-Humanitarian Cash Transfers links" update in relation to the COVID 19 responses is a joint initiative of the Grand Bargain Cash Workstream sub-group on linking social protection and humanitarian cash transfers and this online community on "Social Protection in Crisis Context" (which is an unbranded, member-led initiative hosted by socialprotection.org). Since December 2020, the update is provided every two weeks as opposed to every week. Past updates on linking social protection (SP) and humanitarian cash and voucher assistance (CVA) in relation to the COVID 19 responses can be accessed at this link.
