I am from Yangon, Myanmar and am very passionate about human rights and development for nations in the Global South. I am currently an intern in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific where I will be for 10 months. Firstly I will intern for the Southeast Asia Regional Office of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. I will then intern for the Resident Coordinator under the United Nations Development Programme. I am a recent graduate of Kenyon College, with a Bachelors in History. Previously, I interned in the United Nations Information Centre Yangon and the Yangon Heritage Trust in Myanmar. I have also completed multiple UN Online Volunteer assignments. I am multilingual in Burmese, English, French, and Russian.
