My name is Nangar Soomro. I have over twelve years of experience in designing and implementation of effective social safety nets particularly unconditional and co-responsibility cash transfers. I have worked with various government organizations and non governmental organizations on mega safety nets as a part of technical assistance of the World Bank and European Union in Pakistan and Swaziland.This experience is supported by Masters in Public Administration and professional development courses on social safety nets, health management, reproductive health and child nutrition. In addition to this, I have studied various social transfer programs of different countries such as Prospera in Mexico, Familia en Action in Columbia, Child Grants in South Africa, Child Grants in Lesotho and Cash transfers in Moazambique. I am particularly passionate about setting up systems for social safety nets and building capacity of counterparts on social protection programs.
