I am Associate Professor of Political Science at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Milan; Director of the Welfare Laboratory (WEL) at Centro Einaudi, Turin and Coordinator of the International Observatory on Social Cohesion and Inclusion (OCIS) in Reggio Emilia. I am also member of ESPN-European Social Policy Network, managed by CEPS/INSTEAD and APPLICA, financed by the European Commission DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. Myresearch interests include comparative welfare states, policy developments and political dynamics in the areas of pensions, labour market, social assistance.
