About me: 
Lesley is a doctoral candidate at the University of Cape Town’s School of Public Health and Family Medicine, and a fellow of the NIH-funded South African Social Sciences and HIV Programme. She a co-investigator of Mzantsi Wakho, the largest known study of adolescents living with HIV, and a research associate with the AIDS and Society Research Unit (ASRU). Her research interests include sexual health and HIV, social protection, gender, decolonization and biomedical and traditional understandings of health and wellness.
