About me: 
I am a PhD candidate at the School of International Development and Global Studies (SIDGS) at the University of Ottawa, Canada. My research focuses on climate change, vulnerability, social protection and migration. I was a lecturer at the Economics and Social Science Department of BRAC University, Dhaka. I also worked as Research Associate at the University of Guelph, and the Center for Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP). I received the IDRC Doctoral Research Award in 2015, and the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canadian Graduate Scholarship from Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) in 2016.
