Annual Conference on European Social Security Law 2018

Objective

This conference will enable practitioners of law specialising in social security to keep up-to-date with the most recent developments in legislation, jurisprudence and practice in this field.
 

Key topics

  • Update on recent legislative and policy developments at EU level, especially:
  • the state of play in the current revision of the social security coordination rules
  • a possible proposal to establish a European Labour Authority, and further initiatives, such as a European Social Security Number
  • Latest jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg (covering mainly, but not exclusively, the period May 2017-May 2018)
