About me: 
I am passionate about protecting people from falling into poverty and reducing their vulnerability. I am a strong believer in and a practitioner of self-determined development and community engagement for social change. After graduating with a M.A (Distinction) in Poverty and Development in 2015, I began working to support the social protection team at UNICEF Malawi, providing technical support to the Malawian Ministry of Gender to implement the Social Cash Transfer Program (SCTP), more specifically I worked to support the linkages between social protection and humanitarian response, livelihood graduation program of the SCTP and knowledge creation around Social Cash Transfer.
