The first Forum meeting focused on Emerging Social Protection Systems in an Urbanizing World and brought together 73 participants from 4 continents. It was hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Program: Global Alliances for Social Protection, jointly with the World Bank Group and took place in Berlin from 24-26 June 2015.
