The EU-funded project Research, Network & Support Facility (RNSF) organises #InformalTalks, a series of webinars dedicated to the Informal Economy, to disseminate the results of its research. The third #InformalTalks webinar is entitled "How to extend social protection to informal workers?" and will be held on October 4 at 11am (CET).

The objective of the webinar is to present experiences and ideas from researchers and practitioners on how to extend social protection mechanisms to people depending on the IE. It will be based on the RNSF book Extending coverage: Social protection and the informal economy, available for free download on socialprotection.org.
This free public webinar is addressed to experts and practitioners, in particular: representatives of Public Authorities, CSOs, researchers, staff of EU DEVCO and EU Delegations as well as other Donors and International Organisations.
It will be facilitated by Mr. Paolo Carlini, RNSF Team Leader, with interventions of Mr. Jacques Charmes, Director of research emeritus, Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), University Paris Descartes and RNSF Research Expert, and of Mr. Juergen Hohmann, Social Protection Expert at DEVCO – Unit B3 Employment, Social Inclusion, Migration.
