The EC-funded FreSsco network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) will organise a seminar in Riga (Latvia) on 13 October 2017.
The seminar is organised by FreSsco in collaboration with its Latvian national experts, Ruta Zilvere and Kristine Dupate. FreSsco is an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated by Ghent University and Eftheia.
The seminar will concentrate on a discussion of several aspects of particular relevance in the Latvian context, notably the coordination of family benefits, unemployment benefits and the application of coordination rules in case of posted workers. The languages of the seminar will be Latvian and English (simultaneous interpretation).
The target audience includes staff of relevant authorities and institutions, social partners, academics, NGOs, judges and lawyers.
